Toronto subway service has been suspended on Line 1, the Yonge-University-Spadina line, between Bloor and Union stations. The TTC says this is is due to an "environmental spill" at College station.
Shuttle buses are operating between Bloor and St. Andrew stations.
Crews are still investigating what the substance that spilled is and the cause of the spill. It is believed to have started Monday night.
City of Toronto crews are on the scene, as well as Enbridge and Toronto Hydro. The TTC has yet to give a timetable for reopening the line.
More to come
