Boy, 11, killed after being hit by train in Saskatchewan

An 11-year-old boy is dead after being struck by a train near Radisson, Sask., on Saturday afternoon, according to RCMP.

The boy's name has not been released.

A second boy was also hit by the train. The 13-year-old was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene.

Police responded to a call at around 12 p.m. CST along train tracks one kilometre south of Radisson., Sask.

An RCMP collision analyst is assisting with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.

Radisson is located approximately 66 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
