Retailer accuses Canada Goose of selling coats at a huge mark up

Sears is hitting back at Canada Goose over a trademark infringement lawsuit, accusing the parka maker of bullying.
Canada Goose sued Sears late last year, alleging the department store is selling knock-offs of its distinctive coats.
Sears has now filed a statement of defence, and alleges Canada Goose is on a "campaign of intimidation" against it and other retailers.
Sears alleges that the real purpose of Canada Goose's lawsuit is to curtail the sales of less expensive winter coats so it can continue selling its parkas at what Sears calls "a huge mark up to the public."
Sears denies that any consumer would mistake their coats, which have their Alpinetek logo, for a Canada Goose product.
Neither Sears' nor Canada Goose's allegations have been proven in court.
