Police say a man firing a rifle shot three people to death at a Brooklyn row house before killing himself.
The violence erupted early Monday, minutes after midnight, at a three-story building on Maujer Street in Bushwick.
Police say all the victims were male and died from wounds from rifle fire. They say the suspect and victims were known to each other.
The victims were found on the second and third floors. The shooter was discovered on the roof.
One person was also wounded on the arm and has been hospitalized in stable condition.
Police say they haven't determined yet what touched off the violence. They are investigating a possible link to a music band.
Police say officers didn't fire their weapons and reports of sniper fire on them are incorrect.
