Toronto Mayor Rob Ford better say his prayers and take his vitamins, to quote Hulk Hogan.
Ford is going head-to-head with the pro wrestling icon in an arm-wrestling match this morning, but doesn't sound too confident about his chances.
“I don’t know if I’m going to win the arm-wrestle, but we’ll see," he told reporters Thursday. "I haven’t lifted too many weights lately. We’ll see what happens."
“My brother’s a real Hulkster fan," he added. "He used to sit always in the mirror and do one of these,” the mayor said, striking a bodybuilder's pose. “He was always a bit bigger than I was."
The mayor and the 14-time pro wrestling champ will grapple at Toronto's Fan Expo at 10 a.m. ET. CBCNews.ca will have live coverage.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is scheduled to hold an "uncensored" question-and-answer session on Friday evening.
Hogan's past arm-wrestling experience hasn't been pretty, but hopefully he can restrain himself against an elected official.
